A patient comes in and says the top of his foot hurts. He says he is a runner and the pain occurred last week when he was running he ignored it but when he woke up this morning the pain was much worse. You ask the patient to raise their big toe and he tells you that it hurts to do so. What does the patient have? And what part of his body is damaged? What caused this to happen?
